What We Practice
If you ask ten different animal caretakers how to handle a specific situation, you would most likely get ten different answers. There isn't one right way to do any of this, so a fair bit of farming with animals is a system of trial and error which requires a willingness to let the animals be your teacher and to listen and learn.

Here's a collection of some of the things we've tried that have worked well for us. So much of what we have learned was shared from a variety of other breeders, so we love passing on the info as often as we can to help others out while they're getting started.

We have a Teal Stone Homestead style hutch - our large doe cages hang instead of sitting on wood cross braces, and it has worked well for us. We also have cages in single rows and some ground pens for our growout kits.
